This Is Our Story

Cascade River Retreat is a family owned business founded in 2019. We are located on a homestead that has been handed down 5 generations. The property is deemed the Harry Moses Indian Trust, which was homesteaded by the Hunter family in the early 1900s. It has been our dream to open and host a campground on our property. The location of our sites are where our ancestors had a corn field and then an apple orchard. The field became overgrown and the orchard eventually disappeared. When we first decided to start our small campground it was the best option for us. We spend many hard days clearing the old orchard and our vision became reality. We now have 8 sites, which are spacious and ready to be used as your private getaway. We offer minimal accommodations. We are just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Cascade River and a 5 minute drive from Marblemount. Our quaint town offers 2 gas station/mini marts, a post office and several restaurants. We are very close to the North Cascade National Forest, the park service and many hiking trails. If you love the outdoors you will love it here.
